The gift of Birthright Israel, a fully subsidized ten-day educational experience in Israel, is a powerful tool that is connecting Jewish young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 to their Jewish identity, their Jewish community and the people and land of Israel. To date, more than 750,000 participants from 68 countries -- including over 42,000 Canadians have received this incredible gift.

''Our vision is to become a world-leading tennis nation. We strive to improve the lives of Canadians through the physical, social and emotional benefits of tennis by leading the growth of the sport across the country. It starts with a first racquet, with an after-school community program, with easy access to courts. They may become Canada’s next champions, or they may forever play in their neighborhood park. Our goal is to get them started and experience the joy and maybe develop that same passion that drives our athletes."
The Toronto District School Board - Literacy Project for K to Grade 5 students at Public Sports and Wellness Academy is to help transform students learning, provide access to learning opportunities, allocate resources strategically and build strong relationships with families and community members at Public Sports and Wellness Academy.
The project is to provide multiple points of entry for participation, so that all students can find success in their journey of learning, through leverage the use of iPads for all Kindergarten to grade 5 students.
We hope to close the achievement and well-being gaps while keeping expectations high for all students because we are providing access to the programs, resources and learning opportunities that students require, while removing systemic barriers that may exist for them.
